There is no doubt that hog hunting is by far one of the most exciting and challenging types of hunting out there, as the Crossroad Adventures crew recently found out.  We joined Lance Carver and his daughter, Catlin, as well as some more friends who were kind enough to take us out hunting wild hogs deep in the heart of Southwest Arkansas.  Lance is just a good ol’, laid back cowboy…but little did we know that with hog hunting, there is nothing laid-back about it at all!!  Those Arkansans sure take their hog hunting seriously!!   During our time spent with Lance, we forced our way through thickets, fought 90 degree heat, and battled ticks, mosquitoes, and every other crawling critter known to man to get to the hogs.  But at the end of the day, regardless of how worn out we all were, spirits were still high and smiles still covered the faces of everyone there.  We here at Crossroad Adventures gained a whole new respect for this sport and have, no doubt, made life-long friends with Lance and his own crew.  We can’t express our thanks to them enough for taking us out with them on an adventure we will certainly never forget!!
